Theatre Age was established in 1992 by Zulfiqar
Khan, a gold medalist from the department of
Indian Theatre, Panjab University, Chandigarh.
Since its inception, Theatre Age has been a
constant source of hope for slum children who have
seen nothing else but poverty and drudgery.
Theatre Age was registered in 1994 with the
Chandigarh Administration. Theatre Age was started
with a vision of a better future for the under
privileged and has successfully transformed the
lives of many rag-pickers, shoe polishers, and
labourers. Through the unique medium of theatre
and acting, Zulfiqar Khan aims to lead the
children onto a path of self discovery. |
